Circular: Health Advisory on Eye Flu and Viral Fever

Dear Parents,

As you may be aware, our city is currently facing a significant increase in cases of eye flu (conjunctivitis) and viral fever. These contagious illnesses pose a serious risk to the health and well-being of students.

In order to ensure the safety of all our students and to prevent the further spread of these infections, we kindly request your cooperation in the following:

1. Eye Flu (Conjunctivitis): If your child is showing any symptoms of eye flu, such as redness, itching, or discharge from the eyes, please keep them at home until they have fully recovered. This will help contain the outbreak and protect other students from getting infected.

2. Viral Fever: If your child is experiencing symptoms of viral fever, including a high temperature, body aches, or sore throat, it is crucial that they remain at home and receive proper medical attention. We advise that you do not send them to school until they have fully recovered.

3. General Precautions:

A. Ensure your child practices good hygiene, including regular handwashing.

B. Advise your child to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth.

C. Provide your child with a clean handkerchief or tissue to cover their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

D. Encourage your child to get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and follow the prescribed treatment.

School attendance is important, but the health and safety of our students are our top priority. Your support in keeping sick children at home until they are well will greatly contribute to the well-being of the entire school community.

Thanks and regards

Principal
