Complaint

Dear Madam

I am writing you to register my complaint regarding your management/staff.

On Sunday 11th Aug, 20XX class III A, children are getting a pdf containing 138 GK Questions and the quiz competition is going to be held on 13.06.20XX ( which is a very short time provided for preparation

No preparation or guidance in this regard has been provided by the concerned teacher. Even the level of questions is very high like

1) Who is the author of "A Cricketing Life Book"

2) What day is CMT Central Music Awards on ?

3) When were all the villages of Haryana Electrified?

4) Where is India's the largest Planetarium Observatory situated? (Wrong answer is given in your pdf)

Another thing is that are 15-20 questions were repeated 3 times. It shows lack of commitment on your staff's part

It is very important to introduce general knowledge but questions must be framed judiciously. Relevant and age-appropriate GK questions must be framed Not just copy paste from another place pattern should not be foliowed. Also children feel very burden due to this time bound competition

I want to know to is it good or your staff have limited knowledge on the subject?

Or all are just to fill the file on data as well?

This type of attitude /behavior is not tolerable

Please take an action against them who is actual responsible for this

Also telling you one thing I will not stop here only, if I will not get revert from your side I will move to higher authority as well

Hope so you will understand the Parents concern.

The question of the quiz were given well before the summer vacations and student sad sufficient time to prepare. Current short notice was only a reminder.

The difficulty level of a quiz by nature cannot be restricted by the age of the students. They have to be surprises in a quiz. Question like name of the author can not be age appropriate.

We will take care in the future that questions in the assignment are not repeated. Thank you for raising this issue.

We are open to listening from the parents and your feedback is valuable for us.

Please write a most appropriate reply to the above letter. We are willing to look into the matter and correct the mistakes.

Subject: Your Complaint Regarding the GK Quiz Preparation

Dear Mr. Vivek Singh

Thank you for your email and for sharing your concerns regarding the recent GK quiz preparation for Class III A students. We value your feedback and appreciate your commitment to your grand child's education.

May I clarify that the quiz questions were initially provided well before the summer vacations to give students ample time to prepare.

The recent communication on August 11th was intended as a reminder rather than an introduction to the quiz. We regret any confusion it may have caused.

Regarding the difficulty level of the quiz, we acknowledge that some questions may seem challenging for the students.

However, quizzes are designed to include a range of questions, some of which may be intentionally unexpected to encourage students to think critically and broaden their knowledge base. Questions like name of the author may have element of surprise.

We understand your concern about the age-appropriateness of the questions and the stress it may cause the children. We will try that future quizzes are more balanced, with an appropriate mix of questions that both challenge and engage students without causing stress.

We take your point about the repetition of questions very seriously. This oversight is regrettable, and we will make sure that such errors are avoided in the future.

Please be assured that we are always open to feedback from parents, as it helps us refine our approach and better meet the needs of our students.

Thank you once again for bringing your concerns to our attention. If you have any further points, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to support your child’s learning journey and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Yours sincerely,

Principal
