Circular: Birthday Celebrations
Date: 08 Aug 20XX
Dear Parents,
It has come to our notice that many Primary Wing parents brings packed snacks and chocolates to celebrate their ward's birthday in the classroom.
While we can sense the joy and excitement that comes with celebrating such a special day, the school has a policy in place to ensure uniformity and fairness for all students. These re students belonging to families with diverse income levels.
Policy on Birthday celebrations:
1. Allowed Items: Students are permitted to bring toffees or chocolates to school to mark their birthday, provided these items are priced below Rs 10 each. This helps maintain uniformity and prevents any undue competition among students.
2. No snacks or Packed Food: To avoid any feelings of peer pressure among items for classroom celebrations. Birthdays celebrations are best enjoyed at home with family and friends.
3. Moderate Celebrations at School: We allow modest celebrations in the school, ensuring all students feel included and equal within the walls of the classroom.
We requested your cooperation in adherence to this policy. It is always a uneasy for us to turn our respected guardians. By following this policy, we can ensure that every child's birthday is celebrated in a fair and enjoyable manner.
PS: Please also note that the teachers are not allowed accept cards or gifts from students on their birthdays.
Thank you for your support in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students on their birthdays.
Sincerely,
Principal
